3D laser scanning and tie in measurementof BOP

Scanning of BOP in USA and BOP carrier on Deepsea Atlantic

2 days scanning and 3 days modeling, 2 days drawings

Delivery:
3D model of BOP and Carrier, 2D drawings of BOP and Carrier, 3D PDF

Purpose:
Quality check a new BOP to fit into an existing BOP carrier and to get a full documentation package with 2D production drawings.

Description:
3D laser scanning of Carrier structure was carried out on the rig location. 3D scanning of the BOP was carried out in the USA after assembly. A simulation of the 3D model of the BOP was then simulated into a 3D model of the carrier for clash check and fitting.
