Why use Laser scanning and dimension control? Laser scanning The scanner collects thousands of Cartesian coordinate point positions per second, which together make a large point collection, known as a "point cloud". Putting several point clouds together we can create a point cloud representation of the scanned object's geometry. This point cloud model is accurate, with a single point accuracy within a few milimetres. It is the raw material for creation of a corresponding accurate 2D or 3D CAD model, or it can be a deliverable itself. This is the ultimate tool for all engineers to perfom new design, demolition scope or document and maintain any facility.
Dimension Control As a part of a quality procedure, it is crucial to verify tie-in connections, using same grid referance between scanning and design and installing the pipes or equipment where it is theoretically designed based on verified prefab control. Apply Capnor ensure that the quality is secured throught the project from start to finished.
